About Makenna

Hi! I recently graduated with a dual degree in behavioral science and psychology with a concentration in early childhood education where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the joy of children! I found my passion while working in a behavioral development center designed to assist children with intellectual and developmental needs in their everyday lives and future educational journeys. I worked at a Child Development Center as a caregiver and lead teacher in two classrooms, each with 15 children aged one to 3 years old and four to 6 years old with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I worked in the preschool 20 hours a week caring for the children's physical, mental, and emotional needs. In addition to my experience as a caregiver and behavioral interventionist at a collegiate level, I have knowledge from my previous years I spent nannying and babysitting throughout college.
