About Makenna

Hi! - I'm Makenna, an experienced educator and childcare professional with degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I spent the past two years teaching fourth grade and have experience with children from infancy through middle school. I've also nannied for three children ages 1, 3, and 6 and spent four summers, progressing from Camp Counselor to Camp Leader. I'm warm, playful, patient, and love creating fun experiences for kids through art, reading, outdoor adventures, games, and outings. My teaching and special education background also helps me adapt to different personalities, routines, and support needs. I'm currently relocating from Pennsylvania to Brooklyn and would love to find a family looking for someone dependable, creative, and caring. I'm excited to help with routines, homework, activities, outings, and making everyday life a little more fun!
