About Makena

I've been caring for children for the past 6 years, and I've always had a passion for helping them learn, grow, and develop. I believe that every child is unique, and I strive to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive. I am a second year early childhood education major at Colorado State University and have a lot of passion for children and helping them learn and grow. I am a patient, calm, and friendly individual who truly enjoys being around children. I am creative and imaginative, always coming up with new and fun activities to do with them. I am also very patient and understanding, and I am able to handle difficult situations with ease. Regarding communication, I believe in open and honest communication with parents. I will always keep you informed about your child's day, and I will always address any issues that arise in a timely manner. I am comfortable enforcing household rules, but I always do so in a positive and respectful way.
