About Makena

Hi! My name is Makena, and I've been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I hold a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and have experience working with children of all ages, including those with disabilities. Growing up with a brother on the autism spectrum has given me a deep, personal understanding of the importance of patience, empathy, and tailored support for each child. I love teaching and entertaining kids through singing, acting, arts and crafts, and sports. I believe in blending fun with learning to create engaging and enriching experiences that help kids grow while feeling supported and safe. I have also received CPR and First Aid training (though I am not currently certified), and I bring a strong sense of responsibility and care to every family I work with.
