About Makena

Hi! My name is Makena. I'm currently in school to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Once I graduate school, I hope to work as a school nurse or in pediatrics. I am comfortable caring for multiple children, infants, or toddlers at a time. I have experience as an Infant/Toddler teacher with a student:teacher ratio of 4:1. I can assist with cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I am also certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant and have current First Aid and CPR Training. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games. I respect and enforce household rules, and I always communicate with parents using their preferred method.
