About Makena

Hi, I'm Makena! I recently moved to Fort Collins from Hawaii to go to CSU. I'm currently working toward a B. S. in Human Development & Family Studies with concentration in early childhood professions. My long term goal is to become a marriage and family therapist . My creative yet friendly approach allows me to connect with children and create a safe, stimulating environment. I've had a few experiences caring for toddlers and older but am open to any ages. My most recent professional job has been a lifeguard and tour guide so I am CPR certified! I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with parents about their child's day or any concerns that arise. I enjoy being outdoors but I also love to stay inside and do some painting or puzzles. I have my driver license and a car.
