About Makenah

Hi, my name is Makenah . I am an Occupational Therapy Assistant student with experience working with children and supporting their growth through compassionate, individualized care. Through my work in behavioral health, I have supported children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities using positive communication, engagement strategies, and developmentally appropriate activities. I enjoy creating safe, supportive, and fun environments where children feel encouraged to learn, build confidence, and be themselves. I am passionate about helping children and families while making a positive impact through patience, empathy, and meaningful connections.
