About Makena

Making a positive impact on children's lives is what I strive for! My previous babysitting roles solidified my desire to work with children, and my passion lies in their growth and development. With three years of experience caring for children ages 4-11, I provide patient, calm, creative, and friendly care. I communicate with parents through verbal updates at pickup, regular texts, or any method you prefer. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games with children. I can assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. After attending Santa Barbara City college for two years studying psychology, I became a yoga sculpt teacher and love all things health and wellness. I look forward to bringing my energy to your family!
