About Makena

I have loved working with kids my whole life. I started babysitting at 14, and have worked in child-care roles ever since. I have been a nanny, a party-host and trampoline park employee, a camp counselor and leadership director, and most recently worked for the Girl Scouts of Utah. I believe children work and thrive through active engagement. Whether we're doing crafts, reading books, playing outside, creating imaginative games, or exploring age-appropriate activities, I enjoy being present and involved throughout the day. My goal is to create a fun, safe, and enriching environment where children feel supported, entertained, and encouraged to learn and grow I am excited to get to know you and your family!
