About Makena

I am a trustworthy, patient, and understanding person with a strong passion for working with children. My experience working at numerous camps, including a camp for children with special needs, and my extensive babysitting knowledge provides me with a strong skill set to professionally care for all children. I spent 3 years as a nanny and personal assistant for a busy family of 5 that included 3 kids, ages 3-13 and numerous pets. I later earned my CNA where I gained 3 years of experience in elderly care. Most recently I was a nanny for a 3yr old and 3 kids ages 7-10. My time is flexible and I'm able to commit to a set schedule or work individual shifts as needed. I love being outdoors, exploring new places, watching or playing any sports, cooking and baking. Kindness, compassion, and creativity are words that best describe me as I love to have a positive impact on people's daily lives.
