About Makayla

From a young age, caring for my two younger brothers instilled in me a genuine love for children. With five years of experience caring for children aged newborn to adolescence, I've developed a patient, calm, creative, and friendly approach. I have a background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Early Child Development coursework. I am comfortable caring for up to five children at a time. I enjoy playing a variety of games, from outdoor sports to board games and even some technology-based apps. I can assist with cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. Communication is key, and I will provide regular updates via text, phone, or in person, according to your preferences. While I am somewhat comfortable enforcing household rules, I prefer to collaborate with you to ensure consistency. I have been taught CPR in school. Seeing children learn and grow brings me so much joy, and I look forward to the opportunity to connect with your family.
