About Makayla

I have a strong background working with animals both professionally and personally. I worked as a veterinary technician, including overnight shifts, where I cared for hospitalized patients and boarding animals. I was raised on a farm, so I grew up around horses, cows, pigs, sheep, dogs, and cats, and I'm comfortable handling animals of all sizes. I've also cared for a variety of small and exotic pets, including snakes, ferrets, and guinea pigs, and have experience around chinchillas, rats, and bearded dragons. I'm confident, patient, and attentive when it comes to animal care, and I'm comfortable in both everyday situations and more high-stress environments.
