About Makayla

Hi there! I'm Makayla, but everyone calls me Mak :) For the past two and a half years I've had the privilege of working as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children ages 2-7 in reaching developmental, social, and behavioral goals. I implemented individualized therapy plans, contrived learning opportunities, and served as a role model by encouraging positive communication, independence, and confidence. Alongside this, I have cared for children through babysitting jobs for little ones as young as 3 months, providing safe, nurturing, and engaging environments. These experiences have strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to build meaningful connections with children in both structured therapy and everyday care.
