Hi there! My name is Makayla, and I'm an experienced animal care professional with a background in both zookeeping and veterinary medicine. My career began in zookeeping, where I built a strong foundation in animal behavior, husbandry, and conservation. From there, I transitioned into veterinary medicine, gaining hands-on experience in both general practice and specialty care, specializing in Surgery and ICU. My approach to pet sitting is rooted in compassion, safety, and understanding each animal's unique personality and needs. Whether it's daily walks, medication administration, or just extra love and playtime, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I'd love the opportunity to care for your pets and give you peace of mind knowing they're in skilled, loving hands!
