About Makayla

Hi my name is MaKayla. I have two kids who are 4 and 6 years old. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I babysat for families with children who are deaf, children with autism, children in wheelchairs, and other varying needs. I am a certified teacher in early childhood (birth-2nd), elementary education (1st-6th) and students with disabilities (1st-6th). I have been teaching for 5 years in the special education realm and am looking to make some extra money during summer vacation. I'd describe my personality as introverted, kind and caring. I like working with kids because they have an incredibly positive view of the world and I find it refreshing. I also love having such a large impact on the future of our world. In my spare time, I like to go for runs, walk my dogs and hangout with my two children! One thing you should know about me is I love to be outdoors and experience nature. My skills include good time management, cleanliness, organization and patience.
