About Makaylan

I have worked with children in a multitude of settings from a live in nanny, to a daycare setting, to a more structured school setting, and also many volunteer church and mentor settings. I have about 5 years of experience, in which I've worked with ages from about 12 weeks to 10 years old. While taking care of children, I believe open communication is very important so updates throughout the day are something I like to include while taking care of your little ones! My favorite thing about taking care of children is watching their little minds grow. I love to find a multitude of different activities and games that focus on both their fine and gross motor skills. From outdoor games, to crafts, to board games, I love to help them learn and also make sure they're having fun! I'm also very comfortable with housework, helping with homework, helping with transportation, meal prepping, and helping enforce house rules as needed.
