About Makayla

Hi! I'm a high school math teacher with summers off and a passion for working with kids. I graduated from Viterbo University with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education and a minor in Special Education. Over the past six years, I've worked with children of all ages through daycare, substitute teaching, special education, tutoring, and classroom teaching. I'm an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors, whether that's playing at the park, going for walks, swimming, playing sports, or exploring nature. I also enjoy board games, crafts, puzzles, and other hands-on activities that keep kids entertained and learning. In addition to childcare, I'm happy to help with homework, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. My goal is to make life easier for parents while ensuring children have a fun, positive, and enriching experience. I am dependable, patient, energetic, and truly enjoy helping children learn, grow, and thrive.
