About Makayla

I worked with my grandmother in Gastonia for two years legally but grew up around dogs. She owned a dog grooming business and from the time I was crawling, I was there; learning the ropes and becoming a complete animal lover. Something I cherish every day that I got from her. I've always had an animal of some kind my entire life (mostly dogs) but I recently got a cat for the first time. Which has been a learning curve but I am accepting the challenge with stride. I have two dogs of my own; an older mixed breed and a labrador puppy. The puppy's name is Ozzy and he keeps me active for sure. He's high-energy and has separation anxiety so I'm used to dealing with animals who struggle to be alone. I am very patient and open to all animals.
