About Makayla

I am an outgoing, attentive, and compassionate caregiver with approximately one year of professional experience and a personal passion for senior care. Raised by my grandparents, I have always connected well with older adults and enjoy learning from their life experiences. My caregiving journey began when I cared for my grandmother after her stroke, which inspired me to become a CNA. I have experience working in memory care and rehabilitation settings, caring for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, post-surgery, and hospice needs. I am licensed as a CNA in Alabama and am currently pursuing Florida certification. I can assist with companionship, personal care, dressing, bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation. I have reliable transportation, am comfortable around pets, and enjoy helping others feel their best through grooming and daily care.
