About Makayla

I started working with children as a mother's helper when I was 13. From there, I began babysitting multiple families. The ages of the children I have watched range from newborn to 12, but I am comfortable working with children of all ages. I have experience working with children who have disabilities and also have experience in Play Therapy. I received my BA in Psychology and tend to use what I have learned throughout my courses in my work with children. I am now in my final year of graduate school on the path to becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I enjoy spending time with children, playing with them, helping them understand their feelings, and listening to their needs.
