About Makayla

Hi!! My name is Makayla and I am grad school student at the University of Florida. I recently relocated to begin a Doctor of Occupational Therapy program since graduating from USF. I have always loved working with kids and have a variety of experience with children in different job settings and age groups. Most recently, I was a summer camp counselor for children with disabilies. This camp contained approximately 50 campers aged 4-20. I am also a recent substitute teacher from Kindergarten up through high school. Additionally, I have experience as a cheerleading coach for kids for the past 7 years. I have spent the past 8 years being a childcare provider for children ages from newborn to 12 years old. I am a reliable, trustworthy, and responsible person and I am confident I can provide a safe and fun environment for your little ones! I am also availabe for caregiving, pet sitting, and house sitting/ house keeping. In my free time, I love cheerleading and spending time with family!!
