Hi! My name is Makayla and I'm 24 years old. I am currently looking for a full time nanny position. I have always loved kids and enjoyed working for wonderful families. I've babysat since the age of 13 and have done it ever since. I've taken care of kids ranging from 8m to 12 yo. I have Nannied part-time for two families. One for 4 years (2 kids) and the other 1. 5 yrs (3 kids). I stopped one due to career changes and the other due to moving states. My previous career was as a full time FF/EMT in Oregon. I worked as an EMT for 4 years and as a Fire Fighter for 1. 5 years. I have done three years of college for Paramedicine & Fire Science. I am BLS/CPR Certified. I am switching careers as I just moved from Oregon to San Diego, CA in Nov. of 2023. Since moving to SD I work with two different families and 1-2 days a week watch their kiddos/school drop-off etc... I also work at a Deli and am trying to drop that job and be a full time nanny to the right family. I'm open for interview! Thank

If you're looking for an amazing and reliable nanny-- you can stop now. Makayla is amazing. My husband and I have no family in San Diego so we had to resort to care.com. I was petrified to have anyone drive my kids but Makayla put me at ease right away. I loved that she had EMT experience (just in case of an emergency). She has nannied for my two kids who are now 8 and 10 for about a year and a half. She is such a joy to our entire family. The kids absolutely adore her. She is very reliable and accountable. She is personable, polite, and hardworking. She was never late and never cancelled on us the entire year and a half. She always goes above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend her.
