About Makayla

Hello! My name is Makayla. My grandmother is currently 84 years old, and I have lived with her my entire life. I've watched my grandmother take care of our elderly neighbor, Arlene until she passed away in 2013. In 2021, my grandmother Ruth fractured her back in five different places, which required someone taking care of her. I helped bathe her, dress her, get her in and out of her bed, up and down off the toilet. I would help her make her meals for the day and gather her medication morning and night for her to take. I don't live my grandmother anymore, as I moved out and live with my fiance now. I visit my grandmother regularly, we take her out shopping, to her doctors visits, and every two weeks, I gather the supplies to have her an at home spa day which includes her getting her fingernails and toenails trimmed and painted! :). I'm willing to care for your elderly loved one as well! Maybe my grandmother and them could become friends if you're comfortable!
