About Makayla

Hello! My name is Makayla. Three words that describe my personality are compassionate, patient, and proactive. I began caring for seniors when I was 16 years old. I love caring for seniors because I believe everyone deserves to feel respected, valued, and safe. I enjoy building meaningful connections, listening to their stories, and supporting them in maintaining as much independence and dignity as possible. I have four years of experience in senior care: two years as an STNA, where I assisted with all activities of daily living, and two years serving in an assisted living setting, which helped me strengthen my skills in attentive, compassionate service. I am looking for a job where I can make a real difference each day, providing not only physical care but also emotional support and companionship. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, and trying new coffee shops. I look forward to the opportunity to support and care for your loved one with kindness and respect.
