About Makayla

Hi! My name is Makayla. I am currently finishing my teacher preparation program at Southeastern Louisiana University and have extensive experience working with young children through student teaching and classroom placements. Working in elementary classrooms has helped me develop strong skills in supervising children, supporting early learning, and creating fun, structured environments. I enjoy helping with homework, reading practice, creative activities, and keeping kids engaged in positive ways. I am responsible, patient, and dependable, and I understand how important it is for families to trust the person caring for their children. My goal is always to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment where kids feel comfortable and cared for.
