Hello! I love working with the elderly! I currently just got hired so I am in the process of working towards my HCA license then to get my CNA license. I have been a nanny for the past 5 year and working with kids and elderly for 11 years. I have spent a lot of time volunteering in Nursing Homes! In 2012 I won an Award from Obama for outstanding community service in Tri Cities WA. I currently work for a special needs girl who is non verbal and aggressive. I know how to handle stress and emergencies well. I have completed my ORSA training and understand HIPPA laws and how to help when a senior falls. In high school I took cooking/baking courses. I will cook a balanced meal or meal appropriate i. e. soft food diet, low sugar etc. I know First Aid and CPR I need to renew them though same with my Food Handler's. I am very Creative and love to knit and listen! I am currently working on my HIV/AIDS training required through WA state. I have valid Car insurance and a reliable vehicle!
