About Makayla

I have been working with kids officially for a year, but I'm the oldest so I was always in charge of little ones. I like working with kids because they are so fun to be around. Whenever I'm having a bad day and I wake up in the morning not wanting to do anything, I come into work and the kids make my day a thousand times better. I am a very nurturing person at heart and I love being in this field and taking care of the little ones who need me. I grow very attached to the kids I work for and I love seeing the progress I have helped them make in their lives. I work in the ABA therapy field currently and although that can be tough, it's the most rewarding work I've done. In my free time, I love to do art and hike. I do any type of crafts and play my guitar a lot. When the weather is nice I love to hike or go on a nature-walk. I've gone to Yellowstone and Colorado and those trips really changed me.
