About Makayla

Hello, my name is Makayla. I'm a 20-year-old college student and currently NYS Certified as an EMT. I have a strong background in caregiving and child focused environments, with experience working at Skyzone, an after-school program called PSDC where me and one other person would facilitate games/activities for groups of up to 21 children, this wasn't only a job of mine but also a passion to be able to build fun bonds with children as well as make sure they were safe. I also have personal babysitting experience, including caring for my younger cousin who has autism. That has taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of creating a supportive, understanding environment for every child. I'm kind, responsible, and genuinely enjoy working with kids. I'm committed to making sure your child feels safe, cared for, and engaged while you're away. Whether it's helping with homework, keeping up with routines, or simply having fun, I'm here to help however I can.
