About Makayla

I have over 7 years of experience working with children in an in-home setting. I'm experienced with children of all ages, from newborns to preteens, as well as caring for multiple children at once. My responsibilities as a care provider have included preparing meals, changing diapers, preparing bottles, following daily routines and schedules, engaging the children in fun and educational activities, assisting with getting children on a schedule, communicating with parents, light housekeeping, caring for family pets as needed, and more! I'm experienced with caring for children with special needs including Autism and children who were non-verbal. I enjoy engaging children in a variety of activities, depending on their age, including arts and crafts, reading books, imaginative play, interactive learning games, going to the park, playing outside, and more. I have completed my background check and have excellent references. I'm also Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certified.
