About Makayla

Hi! My name is Makayla, and I'm a student at Oregon State University studying Political Science with a minor in Spanish! I love spending time with kids and getting to know their little personalities. I'm caring, patient, and responsible, but I also love being silly and making things fun! Whether it's doing crafts, playing outside, having a movie night, helping with homework, or bedtime routines, I want kids to feel happy, safe, and cared for. I'm CPR certified and have experience with children of different ages, including children with special needs, both verbal and nonverbal. I've worked at an indoor playground and babysat for neighborhood families, so I've gained experience in both professional and in-home settings. I love finding ways to connect with each child and make them feel included. I'm happy to help wherever needed and make life a little easier for your family. I look forward to meeting you!
