About Makayla

As a mother myself, of 3 teenagers, I fully understand the importance of having a trustworthy, loving, and caring person to care for our little ones when we work full time. While being born and raised here in Middle Tennessee, for almost 10 years my family and I lived in Oklahoma. There I worked as the lead teacher of a very prestigious child care facility. I was over the 2-year-old and toddler class for over 3 years and substituted in the nursery as-well as pre-k and school aged children. After high school I began working as a daycare teacher and worked in that daycare through multiple ages for 4 years. After that I spent one year as a live in nanny. The last 3 years I have homeschooled my children while also taking on the Children's Pastor role at our church, designing and creating curriculum and managing all elementary school aged classrooms and teachers and nursery through Pre -K ages as well. I enjoy it all so much.
