About Makaiyla

I have babysat since I was 13 years old and have done it almost every summer. I always have a schedule I try and follow so the kids can have a routine. I have worked in multiple classrooms from kindergarten up to fourth grade. I am currently pursuing a degree in education and will one day be a teacher. I know the school curriculums well and would be able to help with homework if your kids are in school, we can do our homework together. Working with kids is a deep passion of mine and I would like to get back into working with kids during college. When I worked in classrooms as an aide I primarily worked with kids on the spectrum or who had learning disabilities so I have lots of experience for all kinds of kids. I have also worked as a direct support professional for three years, so I have varying experiences with ages, needs, and abilities.
