About Makaila

Hi families! My name is Makaila, and I am 23 years old. I am a kindergarten teacher with a degree in Elementary Education from JMU and over 10 years of childcare experience, including babysitting, nannying, tutoring, summer camps, and infant care. I am passionate about working with children and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn and grow. I plan age-appropriate activities and enjoy keeping children active through crafts, outdoor play, reading, and educational games. I am reliable, responsible, and patient, and I value building strong relationships with the families I work with.
