I recently got one step closer to my goal of working with children with special needs, I just got a job as a SpEd IA in a high school which means I work with kids with IEPS, other special needs, autism, etc. But I also actively babysit/teach a 4. 5-year-old with autism so my experience varies plenty! My brother grew up with many special needs and it was a very lonely time trying to find people to properly care for him, I strive to be that person that people can trust with their kiddos. It can be so hard in this day and time to find a reliable person who can accommodate to special needs, so that is what I've had my mind set on doing for quite some time.
