About Makahla

Hi! I'm Makahla, a stay-at-home mom of four, and I absolutely love working with children. I have years of hands-on experience caring for kids of different ages, personalities, and needs, both as a mom and through babysitting. One of my children is autistic, so I also have personal experience with sensory needs, different communication styles, routines, big emotions, and the extra patience and understanding that some children need. I know firsthand that every child is different, and I believe in meeting them where they are. I'm patient, dependable, caring, and love creating a safe, comfortable, and fun environment where kids can be themselves. I'm comfortable with playtime, meals and snacks, nap/quiet time, potty training, homework help, and keeping little ones entertained. As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with your child. I'll treat every child in my care with the same kindness, patience, and respect I want for my own children
