About Maizie

Hi there! My name is Maizie and I am very interested in helping take care of your kids! I am willing to help you in any way possible to make your life easier. I can do housekeeping, meal prep, drive, etc. I have previously been a camp counselor, working at a summer camp for kids ages 7-15. My most recent job has been working at an elementary school (primarily focusing on K-2nd Grade), mentoring kids who struggle economically, academically, and/or social-emotionally. I worked with kids in small groups, teaching them fundamentals of reading, writing and math. Along with teaching them, I acted as a companion for them, making sure they are happy, healthy, and safe. I have gone through many trainings and even took college courses to help further my knowledge into childhood development. Hanging out with kids is a passion of mine that I hope to make a part of my day to day!
