About Maizie

Hi! My name is Maizie, and I'm an experienced babysitter with a strong background working with children of all ages. I've worked as a summer camp counselor for kids ages 7-15, where I learned to keep children engaged, active, and safe in a fun environment. I've also worked at an elementary school with students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. I mentored kids facing academic, economic, and social-emotional challenges, leading small group sessions in reading, writing, and math, while offering support and companionship to ensure each child felt safe and valued. For the past two years, I've regularly babysat a toddler, which strengthened my experience with younger children. The family recently moved, so I'm now looking for a new family to support! In addition to hands-on experience, I've completed trainings and taken college-level courses in child development. I'm passionate about creating a warm, safe, and fun space for kids to thrive.
