About Maiya

I have several years of experience caring for children. My responsibilities have included preparing meals, maintaining the home, transporting children to and from school and activities, assisting with camp pickups, providing general supervision, and group babysitting, caring for up to seven children at a time. I also worked at a city park in Northern California. In this role, I supervised children in a busy public setting, led structured activities, and ensured safety. Knowing I can positively influence a child's life is what motivates my work in childcare. I have experience with children 1. 5 yrs and up. I am patient, reliable, positive, and approachable. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and maintaining clear communication with parents. I am happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, crafts, and carpooling. I have my own vehicle, am comfortable with pets and farm animals, and am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for children.
