About Maiya

Making a difference in people's lives is what drives me. I'm passionate about supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors. I strive to be patient, calm, compassionate, friendly, and uplifting in my care. I can communicate with families through verbal updates, texts, or phone calls, always following their preferred method. Creating a comfortable environment is essential for building connections. I am currently in graduate school for occupational therapy, which I will be graduating with my master's degree, in 2027. I can assist with transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I am fluent in English, with a good bit of Spanish as well. I look forward to bringing my skills and caring nature to your family. Although I don't have a background of senior or adult care, I am very passionate about it as that is what I want to do within the field of occupational therapy.
