About Maiya

I started working with kids when my niece got diagnosed with autism. It was harder to find a caregiver that was willing to accommodate to the differences a neurodivergent child possessed so I stepped into that role and became her caregiver! In my spare time, I like to read, write poetry, and do my nursing coursework! One thing you should know about me is caregiving is my life work! I'm currently in nursing school, I've worked as a caregiver for the elderly and for disabled children and adults since I was 14 years old! My skills include engagement, infant care, and mentally/physically disabled children accommodation!
