About Maisy

I am an experienced babysitter with a background in art therapy, psychology, and child development. I hold two Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees as well as a minor in psychology from Ohio University and am pursuing a Master's in Art Therapy at Seton Hill University. My education equips me to foster creativity and emotional growth in children. I've been babysitting since 15, most recently at Lauri Ann West Community Center where I managed groups of up to 12 children in STEAM projects and gym classes. I have experience working with children of differing abilities, including those with disabilities and behavioral challenges, and I approach every child's needs with patience and understanding. I have the necessary clearances and certifications, which I am happy to share. My approach focuses on tailoring activities to each child's interests and development. I highly value parents' input in the planning process to ensure a positive and meaningful experience for your child.
