About Maisey

A few of the many reasons I love memory/senior care are as follows: The sense of purpose and meaning the work brings to my life. The bonds that I form with the people I care for as well as their families provide me countless opportunities to learn, grow, and improve not only as an STNA but a daughter, mother, wife, sister, and person in general. The privilege of helping someone preserve their sense of dignity and autonomy, no matter how extensive their care needs. I'm looking for a job that only requires weekends so I can arrange a babysitter for my son. My skills include patience, attentiveness, problem solving, communication, compassion, adaptability, behavior management, redirection, basic nursing, planning activities, providing emotional support, ability to remain calm in stressful situations, and embracing criticism.
