Hi! My name is May. I am 30 years old and live in NW Portland with my fiance and 2 kittens! I recently graduated with my Master's in Teaching (Elementary endorsement) from George Fox University and am looking for a summer nanny position. I spent the 2019-20 school year student teaching in a First Grade classroom in conjunction with getting my Master's. I am now qualified as a licensed Elementary teacher through the Oregon Department of Education. Before getting my Master's degree I worked as a preschool teacher for almost 7 years, working with kids aged 2-5. I have my Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies. I love working with young children, and have a great passion for early childhood education. I believe children learn best through play and exploration. I practice positive guidance with children. I love being outside and exploring. I also love puzzles, crafts, and science experiments. I collect cool children's books and love to talk literacy!

Awesome with my daughter! Reliable, punctual, and loved having her watch my daughter:) has experience and is very professional. She watched my daughter for a couple hours every night and if I could have kept her, I would have! I switched shifts and that is the only reason I couldn't keep her. Still hire her occasionally whenever I can. She is great with my daughter and I never worried about leaving her with Mai:)
