My name is Mairead and I'm looking for a part-time or occasional job to supplement my income. I work at a school that serves children and young adults with multiple disabilities. I've been there for a total of nine years and thoroughly enjoy working with folks with significant disabilities. I've been told over the years that I'm a very patient and compassionate person. I'm comfortable with direct care and helping with ADLs as that's a part of my day job. I enjoy helping folks build their life skills whether that be in the home or out in the community. I'm someone who likes to learn new skills and challenge myself and try to keep an open mind. There is some flexibility with my schedule. I posted a general idea of what I'm comfortable with during the school year, but always open to discussing it.
