About Maira

Hello, my name is Maira. I am 36 years old and I am originally from Colombia. I have been living in Chicago for 3 years and I am fully authorized to work in the United States. I have a university degree in Psychology, my passion is taking care of children and their development. I have worked as a nanny for the last 3 years, taking care of newborns and young children. I am experienced in creating routines, implementing baby-led weaning, supporting early development and teaching Spanish through play. I love reading, singing, doing crafts and spending time outdoors with the children. I am warm, organized and committed to helping the little ones grow up in a loving and safe environment. I like working with children because they bring a lot of joy, curiosity and honesty every day. I find it incredibly rewarding to support their growth, teach them new things and help them explore the world in a safe and loving environment. I enjoy being part of its development.
