About Mai Ly

Hello! My name is Maily. I am 24. I am moving down to Los Altos, CA June/July of 2025 from San Francisco and excited to continue my work with children! I have 8+ years working w/children ages 0-14 such as babysitting, assistant teacher at TK/8 school, soccer tots, gymnastics classes, & rock climbing. I strive to create a nurturing and safe environment to learn and grow. My teaching and care, centers around a progressive pedagogy of holistic learning/development. My BA in Psychology along w/early childhood education units taken, has strengthened my ability to understand children at all ages of development, and effective ways to support them. I value open communication & flexible w/methods of communicating. My goal is that both the family and I are on the same page regarding enforcing household rules & updates regarding their child's day etc. I'm available to care for up to 2 children, ages 0-11. I am First aid/CPR certified & have reliable transportation. I love pets!
