About Maile

I love nurturing children's creativity through play, tutoring, arts, and storytelling. I'm seeking a warm, caring family with somewhat flexible hours. I've worked with children since age 15, beginning as a babysitter and teaching assistant at Westside Waldorf School, which I attended. Throughout high school and college, I taught at Fancy Feet Dance Studio, growing from camp counselor and substitute to leading classes and private lessons. Outside work, I love spending time with my family, especially my little brothers, ages 3 and 5. I'm also an actor, playwright, and musician. My Waldorf education shaped my belief in holistic childcare that supports each child's mind, body, and spirit. I'm nurturing, playful, organized, and dependable. I enjoy cooking and preparing meals, planning engaging activities, and keeping routines on track. I'm also a confident driver, comfortable navigating all over Los Angeles for school pickups, outings, and activities. I value kindness and communication.
