About Mai

Hi! My name is Mai. I am a patient, reliable, and caring caregiver with hands-on experience caring for young children, including children with autism. I have been a full-time mom for my two children, and I understand daily routines, feeding, toileting, safety supervision, and how to stay calm and supportive during challenging moments. I am also CPR and First Aid trained. I am especially experienced in soothing children by holding them, singing, and using gentle touch techniques to help them feel safe and calm. I would be happy to help with childcare, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe and structured environment. I'm happy to discuss the hourly rate and payment method in advance so we are both comfortable. For new families, I usually prefer same-day payment at the end of each shift.
