About Maia

Hi! I'm a recent graduate of Texas State University with a B. A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Business Administration. I'm excited to share my knowledge and help the next generation of students succeed. I've been passionate about learning from a young age and know firsthand how much a great tutor can impact a student's life. As the daughter of a children's pastor, I have years of experience working with kids and understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and tailored support. I'd describe my personality as driven, empathetic, and inclusive I like tutoring because I love to see students confidence grow as they grow in knowledge about what they are studying. I'm looking for a job that allows me to make a positive change in students' lives by showing them they are capable, smart, and that it is possible to succeed. In my spare time, I like to discover new music and play bass. I'm also a huge reader and absolutely love finding new authors!
