About Maia

One thing you should know about me is I'm a psychology student at Elon University, so I will have to work around my class schedule. I have also taken some education classes for my minor. I have the intention of becoming some sort of therapist, maybe a child therapist, when I graduate. I like working with kids because children are the future and it's important that they have the best lives possible to grow up and be happy and healthy (mentally and physically). Also, kids are so funny and adorable. I worked at a sports facility, starting at 15 years old, where I was a coach for kids that were 18 months to 12 years old, running fun games for them. I worked there for 4 years continuously through high school and now I fill in for them when I'm back from school and they need people to help. I've also babysat for many family members since about the same time. I'm not fluent in Spanish but I know enough to hold a conversation or teach children the basics.
