About Maia

Hello! My name is Maia. I recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a B. S. in Bioengineering and will be starting a Master's program in Psychology in the fall. I have been tutoring and offering college application support to high school students for the past four years and have worked with 20+ students. I focus on personal statements and supplemental essays. I provide direct, thoughtful in-document comments and clear edit suggestions. I also enjoy brainstorming ideas and talking through structure to help students build a strong, compelling essay. I aim to make the application process feel less stressful and more manageable, helping students write with clarity, confidence, and authenticity.
